Challenges
Daily targets, day locks, markets and calendar periods.
How is the daily target calculated?
The target is your chosen percentage of that day’s starting balance, rounded to the cent. Because each day starts from your latest balance, targets grow as your balance grows.
Can I skip ahead if I have a big day?
No. The next day unlocks only on a later calendar date, and only after the previous day’s target is met. A day is met when its net result is at least the target.
What happens if I record a loss?
It is saved as a negative amount. It lowers that day’s total and your balance, never unlocks the next day, and you stay on the same day.
Why can’t I edit my challenge?
Settings lock once more than two days have entries, so a plan cannot be changed after results exist. You can still pause, resume or delete it.
Do I still need the challenge?
No. Challenges are optional. They keep their own data and rules, separate from your journal trades, and have their own calendar of profit and loss days.
Which markets can I run a challenge for?
When you create a challenge you pick a market. Forex counts Monday to Friday, five trading days a week. Crypto and synthetic indices count seven days a week, and Other lets you choose how many days a week you trade.
Can I fit a challenge to a calendar period?
Yes. Use “Fit to a calendar period” and pick a start and end date. TradlyMemo counts the real trading days for your market, so a 31-day month is planned as 31 days rather than 30.
How many challenges can I create?
The Free plan includes one challenge. Paid plans can create as many as they like.
Do I get a certificate when I finish a challenge?
Yes. When you reach the end of a challenge, a certificate opens with your name, your starting and final balance and your total profit. Download it as an image to keep or share. It is made from the entries you recorded and is not verified by any broker or prop firm.
